Church for life is a non-denominational church for the community of Santa Maria. CFL was started as an outreach of Great Falls Christian Center in Great Falls, MT. Rob and Cindy Litzinger were the Pastors of Generation Church, a ministry to youth and young adults at GFCC for close to 10 years.

“After a trip to China, God began stirring new things in the leadership at GFCC and they soon they talked to my wife and I about a new church in Santa Maria,” explains Rob.

“GFCC’s leadership sent us to scout Santa Maria for two weeks and God confirmed in many ways that we were to sell our house, pick up our lives and move to a new growing area with many opportunities to bring people closer to a relationship to Jesus Christ through the local church.”

As we were preparing to launch this new church, we asked the question, “Aren’t there enough churches out there?” After much research, we discovered that around 300,000 churches close their doors every year. We believe that every person needs a pastor. This is not a time for the Church of Jesus Christ to fall backward. We want to move forward!

We have seen Jesus work in incredible ways the past 14 years and we are excited to work with the other churches in the Santa Maria area to accomplish all that He has in store for the Central Coast!”
